Prevention, Intervention & Postvention Training

Today in the United States approximately 2,465 people will attempt to take their life by suicide and 95 will die.

It is our mission to train the Christian Community to respond to those who are contemplating suicide and to support those affected by suicide with understanding and compassion.


Early Bird (until Oct. 1): $15 Single, $20 Couple
After Oct. 1: $20 Single, $25 Couple

Seating is limited, register early. Those registering as a walk-in, the day of the event are not guaranteed a lunch.

High School seniors may attend with parent/guardian’s permission.
Box lunch and training materials included.

Overnight accommodations are available for as little as $15 per person.

Due to the overwhelming response to the Training Day, we are now only taking phone or walk in registrations. Please call the church office during normal business hours, M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Walk in registrations on Saturday are not guaranteed a lunch.

9:00 AM – safeTALK Training: Recognizing the Signs of Suicide
Equipping the Christian Community to Address Suicide: An Integrative Approach
(For those who have already completed safeTALK Suicide Prevention Training)

12:15 PM – Lunch / Resource Booths Open

1:00 PM – Intervention: Connecting those in need with resources while creating an atmosphere of support.

2:15 PM – Postvention: Hope and Healing for Those Who Have Lost a Loved One to Suicide

3:30 PM – Candlelight Remembrance Service

4:00 PM – Resource Booths Open
